Gaetano Caltagirone

Gaetano Caltagirone is the co-founder of The Calta Group, a real estate development and construction firm based in Miami Florida. The Calta Group is primarily focused on the development of luxury single homes in South Florida’s most exclusive housing markets. The company adheres to a market centric investment strategy.

Gaetano oversees all investment, acquisition and financial operations of the firm, inclusive of all equity structures. Gaetano, has over 20 years of direct experience in the development and acquisition of large-scale hospitality and residential projects.

Under Gaetano’s leadership, The Calta Group has grown to become one of the premier luxury home building companies in South Florida. This success is largely attributed to his vision; creation of a vertically integrated real estate development company enabling the company to efficiently acquire, finance and deliver high quality homes to the market.

Prior to founding the Calta Group, Gaetano worked with one of Europe’s largest development and construction conglomerates. His portfolio included overseeing the development of 15 commercial and hospitality projects, and management and teams representing over $1.5 billion in total project sales.

Gaetano holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Europe. He currently lives in Coral Gables with his wife, daughter and son.
